Liquid Bulk Facility (LBF)
A Greenfield project for the construction of a Liquid Bulk Facility (LBF) in Mina Saqr Port (Ras Al Khaimah). This facility will be a petroleum storage complex comprising a tank farm, marine berths for liquid bulk cargo transfer, and an offshore loading/discharge facility. The project’s core business will primarily serve as a ship-bunkering hub, providing storage and supply of marine transportation fuels to ships. The storage tanks have been designed at 400,000 cbm capacity. The project’s annual sales are estimated at 8 million tons. Products handled will primarily be IF380 and IF180 and marine diesel oil, possibly IF500. The project will be built over a 500,000 sqm plot. KGL Petroleum is looking at the project on a joint venture basis with potential strategic parties including RAK, Vitol, Reliance, Oiltanking and other major investors. |
